Lately, the MAV team recruited and trained a new batch of 28 facilitators to give awareness sessions on Gender Based Violence. The training was done in 2 parts – Part 1 was held on 8th, 9th & 10th November 2014 and Part 2 on 15th, 16th & 17th November 2014. The training was conducted at Air Mauritius Training Centre (Ebene) and Scouts Association Training Centre, Baden Powell House, Trianon.
Back on 25th September 2014, interviews were carried out at Middlesex University Campus by 22 interviewers, to select the best candidates out of more than 100 applicants.
After the training, some of the new facilitators were ready to deliver their first awareness sessions.
